The Madeira Nature Festival promotes for a week tourist activities based on nature thus encouraging a direct contact with the rich natural heritage of the archipelago of Madeira, an event that will be held between October, 3rd to 8th.
For the second year in a row and for the fourth time since first participating, Madeira Islands has been chosen by the World Travel Awards as Europe’s Leading Island Destination 2017, in what are considered the “Tourism Oscars”.
One of the most important Madeiran festivities happens in the month of October, in the municipality of Machico, east of Madeira, a religious festivity held on October, 8th and 9th.
